Taking back my broken verizon phone?

I have a verizon black cherry chocolate and I had it for over 1 year and I can upgrade to a new 1 with a discount in november. but yesterday my charger broke and I used my friends charger which is the same exact one and it still dont charge my phone. so it must be a problem with my phone. so if I take it to verizon, what do you think they are going to do ? what are they going to say ?

you can take it and saw it doesnt work and usally they give you a new one for free thats what they do with my enV2 cause its a “manufacture defect”
