How to help a suicidal friend?

Everyone knows that it isnt a good thing to want to commit suicide!! But my friend wants to sorta commit suicide..like she just feels there isnt really any reason for living because everyone (family members) is alwas talking about her parents..(her parents take care of her but just not in the way that they should)…I mean like (they dont really have a stable life style yet but its getting there)like for example my friend would over her grandmas house and her grandma would be talkin about er parents right in front of her and it makes her really sad…this same situation has came up before and she told her mom..but her grandma said its my house and I can do what I want to do…even though that is true its still wrong. And she doesnt really want to talk it out with anyone because nobod understands..partly because shes a pisces and she sensitive 2nd her little brother isnt really doing what she tells him to do and he is going down a not so good road..her little brother is 8 and she is 13.she also has a little anger problem..and it make her sad when her little brother makes bad choices because he makes people think hes not going to be anything in life..and thats not true because hes reall smart Lastly at school kids are crule but people dont mess with her anymore because they know she will lash out…shes not bipolar.. Also she is really smart her and her little brother are interested in politics and space and she is also a great track runner I dont want her to throw all of that away And she is always stressed out because of her acne and her underbite..she has insurence but she cant get a job now because shes to young and braces cost thousands of dollars..all of this stress isnt good she needs help Lastly

When someone “sort of” wants to commit suicide its usually just a cry for help. Try to be there for her to talk to. Most people who actually do commit suicide dont tell anyone so you have an advantage by knowing her thoughts. Keep her talking about it so that you can make her understand how final it is to do this. You sound like a good friend. its hard work when someone is down so try to get her up and out of the house to do fun things.

It could be serious sometimes telling her parents might help her, she may resent you for it but sooner or later shell understand it was for her own good and it may save her life
