make flashcards that always helped me when I was in highschool. make them with index cards. put a definition on one side an the answer on the other. or a question on one side and the answer on the other. a teacher I had told me that using yellow index cards makes it easier for the brain to remember

Like they said dont follow tell you follow asleep the brain doesn not store information you studied an hour before you fall asleep so get some rest. As far as studying quick read the heading and the 1st paragraph. Generally the 1st paragraph will give enough info about the subject. If you have time go back and study what you think is most important again. By they way while you are studying, read like you are teaching the subject to someone. Wake up early and refresh your memory right before the test. GOOD LUCK

when it comes down to studying the night before an exam I try to read all the information as if I were explaining it to someone. therefor, I will most likely retain the information I have learned because not only was I reading it, but also learning it.

Thats the worst. the brain can only retain 2hrs of full on hard core study time. thats why they say its best to study w/ time. what I do is study 2hrs take a 2hr break and then go at it again and again unti li get sleepy O and dont pull an all nighter. jsut get up 2 hrs early before you go to school and review what you studied. Trust me it should help just really get focused and try hard!! Try to Avoid this it will soon turn into a habit
