Stressed about work
What in the world do you do when you’re so stressed out from your work but you don’t want to walk out. I have just recently started disliking my job (not everyday) but there are days that are worse than others. I have started looking elsewhere for a different type of job.
I suggest you check out this video on Opera’s web site she had Marcus Buckingham do a workshop on career workshop and click on “take the course.” here is the link. http://www2.oprah.com/money/career/marcus/marcus_workshop_main.jhtml just copy and past that link its kind of long but he give you lots of good tips about your career.
Why are you stressed out ? Think hard on it. Is it personal? Is it the job description? No short answer will help me help you. After some thought, give me the details, and I will try to give you the advise that fits the situation. Don’t hold anything back. Peace, Sting
wow people are real encouraging on here.. not!
ok your stressed out probly cause of the way people treat you or maybe what your stuck doing for them but just think of the good things about it. 1st. you have the privlage to say you worked hard to get where you are today. 2nd you gain job experience for when your going to get another job and most of all it can gain you friends or discounts from those you know from there incase you ever left :)
hey my philosophy is happiness first!! think about it…you spend more time at work than at home…why be unhappy? no way…find something you are passionate about. find that job you love. you deserve it and don’t feel bad. granted there will always be something at your job that will occasionaly be a damper on things, but that is life.evaluate the position your in now and consider finding something worth what you are worth. There are bosses out there who appreciate their employees and have fun at work…create it and find it sister!! good luck!!!
Start looking for another job now, unless waiting some specific period of time is going to help (like you have been promised a promotion). Write down what you are looking for, goals, possibilities, expected pay, hours, and amount of responsibility. Don’t accept less than what you want. Be proactive about your life. Knowing that there is hope for a better job will make tolerating the crappy one easier.
you need to obtain life satiety. if your job doesn’t satisfy you, bail, and find a new one. live the dream.
your obvisly nt happy with your job start looking for a new 1
