stopping period ?

Hii . My boyfriend is supposed to come up for spring break, starting April 13th. I haven’t seen him in a very long time and we really miss eachother. But the thing is, I’m supposed to get my period around that time. And I know there are ways you can stop it from coming. Someone told me to get on birth control and someone else told me to take the shot. Are these for sure ways to do it so it won’t come ? I meen I want it come later in the month, just not when he is here. Any advice? :)

Threre is a little known item that allows you to have sex while having your period. They are called “Instead Soft Cups”. Google it.

Here’s some good information written by an MD: A Mayo Clinic expert explains about delaying your period: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/womens-health/WO00069

I’m on Birth Control and you’re susposed to take them for 21 days then have a 7 day break - in the break time, your period comes. But my boyfriend was coming down and I was susposed to have that break. So I just took the next packet of tablets straight away, this delays your period. I kept taking the pills to stop my period coming. Keep taking the tablets till your okay to have your period - when your boyfriend has gone I would imagine. When you want your period, just stop taking the pills for 7 days, then carry on as normal.

The Birth control pill I’m taking is called Microgynon.

I looked up the instead softcup and that is nasty. My aunt told me that if you warm up a douche and use it as close as possible to the time you will see your man, it can hold your period off for a few days. HOWEVER in my experience, having sex around when I am due to start my period ALWAYS brings on my period. I have not tried this method yet, but I plan to try it today, the only difference is that I have already began my period, I hope it still works.
