How do you stop a muscle spasm?

It does hurt but I’ve had one all day and it’s annoying. Any ways to stop it?

Try exercising it out and make sure you’re hydrated, but it’s not typical for a spam to last an entire day.

im no expert, but some of my coaches have just told me to breathe deep and make sure you’re moving around in some way so it doesn’t lead to cramping up.

It depends on where it is… sometimes i get one in my foot and it lasts a few seconds, other times its like a charlie horse (hamstring) and it can last three hours… you can try exercising it out but it might hurt alot and if it hurts too bad just stay in the same spot for a while. also try ice and hot stuff to relax the muscle, helps alot :)
