If it smells burnt, it’s because it is burnt….you probably left the curler in too long. Try diluted vinegar in a spray bottle.

Answer #11

Stop using things that are going to burn your hair, straighteners, curling irons, etc… Whenever I straighten my hair it smells burnt, I just spray some good smelling heat protection on it. I don’t straighten or curl my hair much really because it damages it too much, and actually burns it.

Answer #12

What has happened, is that by using heaten appliebces, you have actually burned all of the moisture and some of the protein out of your hair. Hair is essentially made of Keratin (protein) and moisture. If you want the smell to go away you should replenish the loss of moisture by buying a heat protectant spray to use when straightening/curling.

Answer #14

Regain the moisture in your hair by using a leave in conditioner and moisturizing shampoo and conditioners.

Also, when using heat appliances always make sure to use a heat protectant.

The one i recommend using is the tresseme (SP) brand. Its and black bottle with a red top.. it doesn’t leave your hair greasy and it smells really good :)

hope this helps

Answer #15

The smell isnt the problem. Its cause your hair is burnt. Got to Sally Hansens beauty supply. You can probably find one around your area anywhere. Grab a orange spray bottle (clear) with a purple cap. Its called Turn up the heat Its amazing. I use it alll the time! My hair dosent burn and it leaves a great look, and smells awsome. Trust me, itll work.

Answer #16

You could trim and it will get the dead ends off
