How can you stop yourself from feeling sick?

Drink some electrolytes, an asprin (or ibuprofen) and water during the day and get some exercise (best thing to cure a hangover)

Yeah I would say stack up on tons of water because you are prob dehydrated & vitamin c to flush out the alchy! (vit c helps breakdown the alchy!) Avoid any coffee because it only causes more dehydration so what you want to try is fruit juices like a Gatorade or a glass of OJ maybe eat a banana (to help bring up your potassium) For your head, do not take aspirin or ibuprofen to get rid of your headache because it will prob make you gag & irritate your stomach. Rather then do that try a cold compressor to relieve the tension. If you are feeling any nausea…try some fresh peppermint tea or chamomile tea…they seem to sooth the stomach.

*I you ever want to get tipsy without the hangover…make sure you drink plenty of water after your night of drinking…so that when you do wake up in the morning, you wont feel like that!

@Here is my tip….I used to get my drink & a bttl of water. sip on my drink, sip on the water…you can enjoy the drink just avoid the hangover.

I would avoid asprin - it can make nausea worse. I would go with the ibuprofen. Paracetamol should be avoided.

I know it works better for some than others. I have friends that swear by aspirin for the naseua and headaches, but you are right ibuprofen is probably better.

Science camp - im such a nerd! Im one of the ones who get more sick with aspirin. Found that out in very unforunatate circumstances!

I use a hot water bottle or hot pad and press it to whatever hurts….the heat tones it down. Then I try to do something to keep my mind off stuff and eat/drink something healthy..
