How can i stop accidentally biting the inside of my cheek?

I’ve had braces for about a month and since getting them the insides of my cheeks are COVERED in blood blisters and where there aren’t blood blisters theres raw bleeding skin. I was wondering if there were any tips in trying to prevent doing this by mistake. I’m quite mindful when i eat but somehow i still end up chomping down on my cheeks :(

Eat slowly…..If you do chew gum a lot maybe that is the cause….. I find I bite my cheeks every now and then, if I’m eating and someone insist on talking to me between mouthful.

I dont eat gum at all haha WAY to scared of that, the bands poke out and it catches my cheek and like crunches it between the metal =/

Answer #3

Ohhhh you are wearing braces? Try getting some wax from the dentist clinics. The metal bits on your braces is obviously poking out a bit, waxing the pointy bit helps. 100 percent certain it works :)
