Still producing breast milk and haven't had a period

My daughter is 20 months old and I’m still producing breast milk, a lot, and I stopped breast feeding her when she was 3 months old, so 17 months ago, which is almost a year and a half!. And, I haven’t had a period since BEFORE my pregnancy with her. My last menstral cycle was December 25, 2006 and my daughter was born September 14, 2007. Is this normal? How long does it take to stop producing breast milk? And is me not getting a period yet related to the fact that I’m still producing the breast milk?

I don’t understand why you still are producing milk… It should have stopped producing when you stopped feeding. Unless you are pumping or keeping the milk flowing. You may need to go to the doctor and start taking pills to dry up your milk. You not starting your period is more than likely because you still are producing milk.
