How can I start a brief statement of why would I be an ideal candidate for a job application?

Answer #1

What’s the job, what skills do you obtain that go a long with the job, are you a hard worker, understand things well? Just list appealing traits about yourself so you stand out and so they’ll pull your application to the side. Like write “I’m a good, hard worker, I always get the job done and I understand things very well. (say something relating you to the job here) I am very interested in this job and I think you would be pleased by what I can accomplish on the job.” Or something along those lines.

Answer #2

There are two approaches.

You can highlight your selling points saying you are a dependable, hard working, thorough, organized and motivated team player who catches on quickly, gets along with almost everyone and who looks forward to being an asset to the company.

Almost everyone says something like the statement above so to be noticed you might think outside the box for something that will stand out from the crowd like a meaningful quote or a poem or haiku about yourself.

Answer #4

Do some research or interviewing to find out (not from the employer) what the employer’s main concern or desire is in hiring for this position. In your statement, emphasize why you are ideally suited to meet that concern or desire.
