No, but if the split ends aren’t cut off, they’ll continue to split right up to the root,and your hair will be too damaged to repair … best trim it away when it’s a small problem instead of waiting for a big problem.

No they just reduce the amount of time it takes for hair to grow, it is best to have them cut of to give healthier hair

not usually but the hair grows upward taking it longer to grow. if you get your ends razored it makes for a less blunt cut. i get mine razored and i have never had split ends and i straighten my hair daily.

not until the splitting reaches the top. you dont necessarily have to cut the ends off unless they are severe. deep conditioning is very important in a hair regimen. so deep condition weekly.
