Is there a special type of food fish needed (read more)?

I know theres goldfish food but for other fish is there a specific thing they need?

I’ve seen differen’t kinds of foods for tropical fish, giant goldfish pellets, betta pellets & salt water fish food, but I’m not sure. I think it depends on where the fish come from/climate.

Yes they make different food for different kinds of fish. Bottom feeders need food that will sink. Top feeders like food floating. Carnivorous fish eat blood worms or feeder fish. It is important to know what kinds of feeders ur fish are. Make sure to ask the people u buy them from what food they recommend cuz sometimes if u change a fishes food their scale coloration changes as well.
