How do I get the sound clicking back on my mac laptop?

The actual sound is working, it’s just that when I push the sound up and down buttons they have stopped making that clicky noise. How do I get the noise back?

What operating system do you have? I have 10.5.8…and have never had any keyboard sounds on my macbook pro.

If you share more detail, then we can help figure it out. If it’s with a mighty mouse there isn’t a known way to turn off the sounds, so if they went, it could be the internal speaker is failing, or that you need to replace batteries (if it has batteries).

Oh I didn’t mean the mouse. I mean like, you know when you turn the sound up with the buttons on the keyboard and it goes blip blip blip as you turn it up? My blip blip blip isn’t blipping anymore :’(
