Why do I sound totally different when I record my voice?

And which one do i really sound like?

You sound exactly how you sound on the recording. You only think you sound different because the sound waves (vibrations) are coming from inside of you instead of traveling from the outside. Its really odd to hear your own voice recorded because that is NOT what you hear on a daily basis! lol I hate my real voice… :(

lol I’m not a fan of my voice either. Don’t worry too much though, I’m sure your voice will mature over time. My voice is just annoying! lol

actually my voice sounds different when i record it with a webcam or something than it does to hear me in person..ive actually been told that by more than one person..it is weird
