How to treat cracked heels?

my best advice what I used to teach my clients…

after a shower, foot bath, scrub all the dead skin using a pumice stone. then use a rich foot moisturizer.

If you want it to stop you have to care for your feet as you do your body.. every night, after shower try some Vaseline intensive care petroleum jelly, yes I know sounds horrible but it so works! smear on to the foot, cover with a cotton sock ONLY…in the morning your feet will be much smoother…keep doing it to keep the moisture in your feet so they get less cracked. over time it will disappear…It’s like your hands in the winter…must learn to moisturize!

Another tip is to make sure you use some sort of flats…do not walk barefoot. It causes the friction between the ground you are walking on and the bottom of your foot. if you wear shoes no socks what will happen to your feet? They will get red, swollen & blister…same with walking barefoot. I wear flip flops…even in the house.

Remember cream is your friend…use it…Vaseline intensive care with aloe & cucumber…my fav body lotion for the summer. Also keeps you nice & cool. TRY IT. :)

at night when you’re going to bed, put vasoline on your heels and put on a pair of socks.. yes, it feels a little gross until you get used to doing it, but, it works.. you’ll start to feel a difference the first morning after doing it :)

I love this stuff I have, I got it from the store Bath & Body Works. They have a whole section of different things and lotions for your heels. It’s called “Lay it on Thick” it’s really nice!

Hey I just remembered I also have this great stuff I first got from the dermatoligist, and have found they sell it at some stores like target. It’s called (Aquaphor) it’s an ADVANCE THERAPY for DRY, CRACKED or IRRITATED skin. It’s works fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

& it says right on the bottle Dermatologist RECOMMANDED!!!! So you know it’s good!!!!!

go to a bath and body works or something and ask for cracked heel treatment :) after it gets fixed, make sure to keep it moisturized
