“The findings support earlier indications that the drug MDMA, often called Ecstasy, may cause lasting damage to nerves that produce serotonin, an important chemical messenger in the human brain associated with mood and personality traits.”

Answer #6

Doing ecstasy religiously is very bad for your brain because of the high amounts of methamphetamine in it.. Most ecstasy tablets are about 50% some sort of amphetamine which has evidence showing that it CAN eventually stop the production of dopamine and MDMA taken enough can do the same as far as the neurotransmitter seretonin, however it is not proven for MDMA.. The average person takes 2 weeks to rebuild your seretonin levels to almost 100%, however it is shown that test subject’s seretonin levels decreased by an average of 5%.

But honestly I would be more worried about the psychological effects more than the brain damage. You are not going to to go stupid over-night. However, with really low seretonin levels it will cause you to be depressed, have a low sex drive. Seretonin controls your mood, that is why you feel so good on ecstasy. So take some 5-HTP (you ca buy it at GNC) and give your brain and kidneys a rest. Your kidneys, liver and heart will stop working with the high levels of meth before you will start forgetting the alphabet haha… stay safe!!!
