Would inhaling a lot of farts damage your lungs?

Hahahaha my boyfriend farted today and it made me wonder… Are farts bad for your health? Cuz they sure smell like death x_x No, but really. Isn’t methane bad?

Unless you had set up a system that directed gas from someone’s anus directly to a mask sealed onto your own mouth/nose (which would cause suffocation), you are not inhaling enough gas to do any real damage to your lungs, even if you’re with a chronic farter.
