How can I solve inequalities in algebra?

Answer #1

You solve an inequality just like you solve an equation, but if there is a negative coefficient when you’re solving for the variable you switch the sign. Ex: -10x + 3 > 8 -10x + 3 ( - 3) > 8 - 3

  • 10x > 5 -x > 1/2 x < -1/2

Hope that helped (: If you have anymore math questions, I can help!
