Does it seem like the US is leaning more towards socialism?

The reason the government is taking over more of the economy, is because this is their chance to get their agenda done…and they’re not going to let that chance get away…Don’t think they care much about the “economy” (mass spending, way and above any spending the history of the country at a time when the peons are scraping by)…The economic crisis works to their advantage because people are scared…and fear is the touchstone to change.

The good news…if the health bill passes, you’ll be out of here sooner… :)

Please show me where in the constitution it mentions anything about socialism, or capitalism for that matter?

The only reason the government controls more of our economy is due to 28 years of republicans catering to big business by lifting regulations and trade barriers, which led directly to todays financial collapse.

Health care is completely different. It should be a right, not a privalege.

We already have forms of universal health care in this country…Medicare and the healthcare for our military. Everyone should have healthcare, it is their right.

A mixture of socialism and capitalism is good for our country.
