Skin problem

I have bumps that look like blackheads all over my legs, except on my inner thighs. They seem to disappear in the spring and summer, then start to reappear in the fall, by mid-winter they are very visible. They are very unattractive and embarrassing. How do I get rid of them?

Try exfoliating with a loofa when you bathe. You should try scrubbing your legs in the morning and before you go to bed. Make sure you aren’t wearing constrictive fabrics, stick to cotton.

It could be infected hairs from shaving, exfoliating should keep that from happening.

You can get a loofa at WalMart or anyother store with bath products. WalMart has them for like .98 cents. Bath and Bodyworks will charge you like $10.00 for the same thing, so watch where you buy it. Loofas are a dried out plant, they loose their stiffness so you should replace it every few months.

I would advise against some lotions as they could be to blame if they are clogging your pores. If your legs are dry try a non-Comedogenic(non-clogging) lotion or moisturizer.

I have the same problem. If you scrub them in the shower with a loofa, they temporarily go away. I had to go into the dermatologist and he gave me a lotion. It made them go away, but you have to put it on everyday and it takes about 2 weeks to start working. If you aren’t in the mood to go see a dermatologist, get Jergens Skin Smoothing Lotion. It basically does the same thing.
