All that info from the other comments is great but I’ll add this. Please check to wheels spin them count 3 Mississippi and if the wheels stop before you finish maybe try a different and ask if you can try the board out in the stoe before purchasing . Don’t get duped !

Ok you should get a blank deck for starters and a pair of independent trucks spitfire wheels size 52 mm reds bearings and mob or jessup griptape

If you want a good skateboard, look at the mall or skate shop. You can buy the stuff separately for at least 200-300 dollars or you can start off with a basic skateboard. (Which I recommend for beginners-20-70 dollars) And if you go to a skate shop, pay attention to what trucks/wheels/bearings to get because some might not fit you well. Like some might make the skateboard too fast or too wobbly or whatever.

There is a lot into gettin a skateboard!

I have to get like a 7.8125 x 31.3 board I have to get some trucks I have to get wheels I sometimes get riptape you will want to get some skate shoes like Etnies!

I don't think you just go and get a board, there is a lot to one!

I normally get the $130 boards! Normally Plan B, and I like the Bam Margera boards!

have you skated before? have a look at a skate shop, they have lots of big name brands like element, blind, darkstar, ect skateboards have differents widths though so if you find one you like, stand on it make sure your feet are a bit bigger than the width of it and move from side to side a bit to see if your comfortable with it complete skateboards (with trucks and wheel) from a skateshop will set you cak about $300 ones from a department store (that are far less greater in quality) will set you back around $50 if your just starting out, a department store skateboard might be good, theyve got crap bearings and wheels (as well as wood) so it wont go very fast but itll give you an idea and you can practice riding around and turning on it

One way to do this is to visit a local skate shop. Where I live, there is a store called Val Surf where they sell both skateboards and surf stuff. (So the name of the shop doesn’t have to be “Skateboards are Us”.) They will have all kinds of decks, trucks and wheels. I would start by asking the guy behind the counter some questions, like, “Do you have any complete skateboards for $50?” He might say, “Yes, no or whatever,” but you will find out quickly what you’re gonna be getting for $50. Let’s say that he says, “Nope, the cheapest complete board we’ve got costs $65.” Your answer? “Is that the best you can do?” If you do this consistently, you will find that they’ll usually try to throw something in for free…like free deck tape or something. Hey, five bucks is five bucks! I would try to avoid getting a department store board if I were you, as someone else mentioned the trucks and wheels are usually poor quality. If you spend a little more for good trucks and wheels, if your board snaps, you can always keep them, and change out a new brand new deck. You can find cheap decks online like at www.skateboardz411.com
