Why am I so sick from eggs suddenly?
I’ve eaten eggs my whole life, and last night I had one scrambled egg and one sunny side up egg. If I have just one or the other I have two so I don’t think it was the amount…but this morning I woke up with the WORST gas pains. I went to the bathroom and had some pretty bad diarrhea…and my gas and poo smelt like eggs. (Sorry for the TMI people lol) So what caused it this time? Just a freak occurrence or am I allergic to eggs now somehow?
You don’t develop allergies overnight. It either was a bad egg or your sick from a completely unrelated reason.

Did you check the expiration date of the eggs? If it’s a bad egg you ate, and you still have stomach problems I agree with Evan you should see your doctor.
Actually, you can develop allergies suddenly … especially when it comes to food. . If it’s a one-time occurrence, then it could have been a bad egg or an unrelated reason, as stated above, but if you’re finding it happening more often, you should really talk to your doctor about it. He can set up the necessary tests to find the source of the problem.
the expiration date was perfectly fine so thats not it. and you can develop allergies suddenly..thats why i asked if thats what it could be.
Exactly what Colleen said :) I used to wasn’t allergic to bees, I am now. The doctor said allergies can develop at any time.
