should pot be legal

Do you think pot should be legal.

And think about this, alcohol is so so so so so much worse for you.

Answer #1

I think drugs should generally be legal. There might be a few exceptions, but for the most part, criminalizing drugs does not work, so it’s foolish.

Answer #2

marijuana is only MENTALLY addictive…

and so you know EVERYTHING is a drug, even cough syrup or nose spray, ever seen someone hooked on nose spray before? O_O its like heroine but not as degenerating…(the addiction NOT the effect) you dont think of buying nose spray now do ya?

Answer #3

have you ever even smoked amblessed?? I smoke and I have a 3.8 g.p.a im pretty sure I have ambition, and hope for myself.

Answer #4

I’ve never done drugs, but I know plenty of people that have and still do. and I think pot should remane illegal because it f’s up your life. you may not see it now but you’ll realize it in the future.

Answer #5

YES!!! I stopped drinking 2 months ago, does bad things to people. but I’ve never made an a$$ out of myself while smoking pot. it should and WILL be legal one day.

Answer #6

Just because your body doesn’t react badly to it, doesn’t mean it might hurt someone else. http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2008/06/04/2264668.htm The way a drug affects someone depends entirely on the person. In case you don’t know anything about history, the US Government tried to make alcohol illegal, and it didn’t work so well. Keeping pot illegal now- while we don’t really know the long term effects- is better than legalizing it, realizing that in the long run it is harmful, and having to take it away again. Also, an addiction to ANYTHING, even caffeine, is NOT healthy and it is NOT safe. Why legalize one more thing that could potentially cause an addiction for someone?

Answer #7

my vote is NO to legalizing pot- for recreational use.

as far as its medicinal qualities- if it helps someone with a disease to feel better, and it is taken under strict supervision at a medical facility- I see no problem with that.

I see examples of countries where drugs are legal- and they all have many generations of people just wasting away- it is truly sad.

but hey- do what you feel you need to do- just don’t come crying to me when you get busted for possession, I am not sympathetic to the cause.

Answer #8

yumiyukai, you can also be addicted to coffee. are you never ever going to drink that??? or pixie sticks!!! oh dear god what now???

believe me, pot isnt as addicting as people say it is. think of it like this.. its a really hot day, and your by a pool. you really want it. but you dont HAVE to get in.

and plus. pot hasnt killed one person in the world. soda killed more. look it up

Answer #9

NO!!! I don’t do drugs and hope I never will, so I don’t know what people think about it, and if they think it does nothing, THEY’RE WRONG!!! It’s an addicting drug and I don’t know much about it, but anything that gets you addicted to it is reason enough not to do it. It messes with your brain. Same with alcohol, it shouldn’t be legal either. people get killed everyday just cause, and some are the most innocent people in the world.

Answer #10

Yes I think it should be. They might make it legal in Oregon in a couple years to sell to 21 year olds in liquor stores

Answer #11

I still don’t believe in it. and I don’t drink soda or coffee ^_^ not everything gets you addicted to it, some people may like it enough to think they are, but not really. Drugs are addicting.
