Should I say something

One of my friends ran away early this morning but no one told me.. When I came to school all of my friends had this weird look and they said nothing was wrong but then in private one of my friends told me about it and that no one wanted to tell me because they were scared it would get around and they wanted to keep it on the low. But im very trust worthy and they didnt have a problem telling anyone else in my group and it just hurts that they wouldnt tell me. I want to say something but I promised my friend I wouldnt say anything about her telling me and I was going to pretend like I didnt know… What should I do?

You must have done something to make them not trust you. Prove to them that you can keep a secret by not telling everyone. If you need to tell someone, tell a school counselor or tell your parents. Talk to an adult about it just don’t go around telling the kids at school. If you telling an adult makes them dislike you, they aren’t real friends anyways. Your friend running away is serious, obviously people are going to find out either way.
