Should I give my dog back?

I recently moved out of my parents house, since I moved into a bigger place I told them that our dog would probably be better off with me due to more back yard space and stuff. Now that I have my dog she’s not being herself, she’s being really mopey. She just lays around the kitchen floor and whines randomly, she has fresh water, food, I let her outside and everything.

Is she doing this because she misses home? Should I give her back to my parents? They are always good to her I just thought it would be in her best interest to bring her here but I think I might have been wrong.

My parents would take her back in a heart beat but I love her so much.

They just brought her here yesterday but my parents were here earlier for dinner and she was all hyper and happy but now that they’re gone she’s being all mopey again. Also my parents have some cats I think she might be missing them too, I don’t know.

talk to your parents if you haven’t already. Yuor dog would probsalby to the same at home with your paarents as you are not there, it is a change for her too.

try bringing her home for visits, or maybe let her spend some days with your parents untils your dog gets used to the idea that thewhole family does not leve together anymore, see how she acts with just your parents and with going back and for for now… and then decide what you thuinks is best.

She just wants every one she loves in the same place she grew up in. in time she will be herself agian.

well give her some time to get used to the new house if theres more space and backyard for the dog to play in you would be much better off keeping the dog there dogs are very teratoreal so maybe thats why shes moaping around in the kitchen because shes not familer with the place your in now!

Give her a bit, and see how she does…one day isn’t enough time for her to adjust…if, after a week, she’s still mopey and upset…rethink your plan. If I remember right, she’s an older girl…and she may be pretty insecure with this move…Familiarity with their enviroment can be important to an oldster (she may have vision and hearing issues you wouldn’t even notice when she’s in familiar surroundings).
