How will I know if my dog is about to give birth and what are the preparations to be made?
my dog started getting really ancy she didnt want to sit still. she was running all over the house. she ended up having them on my bed at 2 in the mornin.
Make sure you have sharp scissors, paper towels, disinfectant and a lot of paitence!! the first sign of labour is panting and digging and so forth. if the mother is having trouble or is too small it is best to get her to a vet as soon as possable but if that is not possable you may need to help. it is best to cut the cord as soon as possable with a two finger tip distance from the pups tummy.
