should I give him a chance?

okay so I dated this guy last year for a brief time but I didn’t really get into him so we broke it off. and then this year we have a class together so we got closer and started dating again, but I just wasn’t ready to have a boyfriend at the time. there was a couple months when we didn’t really talk much but about a month and a half ago or so we started talking again and got really closed and it actually got kinda physical. we almost slept together but didn’t, and that was that. it didn’t turn into a relationship, we just remained friends, which at the time was fine with me. we both went our seperate ways for a couple weeks but then started talking again and for the past 5 days straight we have texted and talked on the phone, and had real serious conversations which is weird because we usually only talk about sex. last night was the first time we brought up anything sexual and now he wants to hang out tomorrow. is he just trying to get in my pants? I want to go out with him, but I want him to prove to me that I actually matter to him and I’m not just some peice of ass. what should I do?

Sounds like that could be the case. Hang out with him, try to talk about stuff other than sex, to see if the relationship is real or just physical. If your friendship progresses, and he enjoys hanging out with you, then take it to the next level when the timing is right.
