Should I get a Mac?

Okay so I’m gonna go to college this fall and I’m gonna get a new laptop from my parents because this one is beat-up, slow and old :P Right now I just have this MSI laptop with Windows on it. But I was wondering..should I get a MAC? I heard the system is a lot more difficult then Windows. Can I still have the same programs and everything on a MAC? Etc etc.

Macs aren’t any more confusing than any other computer (because it IS a computer, don’t be mislead). I hadn’t used or seen a Mac before I got my first one at the end of 2007, but playing with it for an hour or two allowed me to pick up all its functions rather easily. It’s completely user friendly, and when you first start it up it goes step-by-step with its user to set up your computer. It only seems difficult because people haven’t really played with it. Personally, I think working with Windows Vista is WAY more confusing than any Mac.

There’s a Mac equivalent to every program you have on your Windows machine.

I have a Vaio, and I really like it :) My friend has a mac… and it’s really confusing :S
