should I dorm at college?

I think at home is fine - less distractions and probably save money…Take care !!

Well just because you live in a dorm doesnt mean you have to go for the party scene. I lived in a dorm for 2 years of college the other 2 I still lived at home… I enjoyed living at home because it saved me a lot of money on expenses but living in a dorm was A TON of fun just for the fact that I had the opportunity to be on my own and get that portion of the experience. To answer your question fully if I never lived in a dorm I dont think I would regret it now but I am sure glad that I did.

For me the dorms were a mixed bag. I did meet some great friends but I also had to deal with overbearing Resident Assistants and Wing Leaders, cockroaches, and bland dorm food.

As expensive as college is I’d commute if I could to save some money.

I am not in a residence (dorm) myself, but here’s my reasons for not going.

I am a very private person and don’t like to be disturbed. I think initiation of any kind is stupid I wouldn’t like to share a room or space with someone else. It’s cheaper Food there sucks

Other than that..I.e. if you are very social and want to meet new people go for it.
