Should I buy a new ipod?

hey guys… I want to ask this qn. my old ipod video of 30gb has jux spoiled with the ‘white screen of death’ and to make it worse I have tried to open the ipod to save it but ended up with a cracked lcd screen and dysfunctional wheel… my warranty is over and I am wondering if I should send it for repair? would the repair cost be too much so I should rather buy a new mp3 player or maybe the ipod classic of 80gb which cost 388. my old ipod video is bought at around 400 and only last year’s june. any advice what I should do?

you should call the apple store and figure out how much a repair would cost.

if it cost more then just buying a new one then just buy a new one

or if it doesnt then get it fixed
