Should I be worried??

Well im 13 and my lil step sister is 7 is acting strange. One day she came running from her house which is 3 blocks away and she was crying and terrifed. I asked her what happened and she wouldn’t tell me. She had brusies and cuts all over her arms and I asked her who did this and she said that she was running and fell and scrapped herself. And another day I went to see her and my dad was working and my step mother didnt know I was coming and I heard her yell and scream. When I went to see why I saw my lil sister on the floor crying and my step mother screaming ‘’ Get up and go to your room’’ and she started hitting her but hitting her hard like almost beating her up. My gut is telling me that shes being abused by her mom but I dont know if im right. Should I be worried??

Hell yes I would be worried. Go tell somebody, the police, anyone. You need to get the your little sister away from her if you think she’s being abused.

Answer #4

Contact the authorities aka the police, that’s child abuse your mom was committing, she could get taken away if the teachers at her school saw those marks. Keep your mom away from her,do whatever you can to protect her if it continues.

Answer #5

Tell a responsible adult - ask them to look into the situation and give you advice - in the mean time get your stepsister to tell you the truth…Take care !!

Answer #6

YES YOU SHOULD!!! CALL THE POLICE… DOESN’T MATTER WHO IT IS AND IF YOU LOVE THEM. TELL THE POLICE. ABUSING A CHILD COULD LEAD TO OTHER THINGS IN THE FUTURE.
