Shitzu Dog pooping bloody slime

My 19 month old shitzu dog started pooping blood yesterday. It started as diarrhea, then it started having quite a bit more in it, and now its bloody slime. She keeps shivering and laying around. Please HELP>>>I do not have a job and cant really afford to take her to the vet, but If she needs to go I will take her, I love her so much she is like part of the family.

Sounds like PARVO, did this dog get all of it’s puppy vaccines? If this is not treated the dog will die??

I have a good question. I have been reading a lot of I got a new puppy and I think it is sick, I don’t have the money to take it to the vet, What should I do??? WHY ARE YOU PEOPLE BUYING OR TAKING IN PETS YOU CAN’T AFFORD, IT IS LIKE HAVING A CHILD, IF THIS WAS YOUR CHILD WOULD YOU JUST SAY OH WELL LET’S SEE IF SHE MAKES IT. GRRR

You don’t have any choice but to take her to the Vet…I think she’s gotten into something toxic…garbage, or something in the garage, or even something she found in the yard. There is NO HOME REMEDY…you’ll liable to lose her if you don’t get her in.

you really need to take her to the vet.

bloody poop is usually very serious.

we had to put two dogs down because of that (the one only 2 days ago). so please take your dog. she sounds very sick.

Defenatelly take her to the vet.. my dog had the same situation.. he was developing an infection inside which is the cause of the bloody diahrea thats what the vet had said… since it was too late to take him to the vet they had to put him too sleep … im not trying to scare you… but take it right away!!!

she may have parvo virus get her to the vets like Now !!!
