I tend to get red bumps when i shave. What waxing or cream hair removal product(s) work the best for bikin area and how can i help the irritation bumps go away?

I prefer using an epilator. It’s a small lil machine that has these metal things in it that rotate and catch the hairs and pull them. So it’s like a rapid plucker in a way. It’s painful but leaves you smooth and the hair doesn’t come back for a while.

Epilators can be expensive, but they’re worth it. Mine was about $80.00

If that isnt for you, I’d stick to shaving. Take a warm bath and sit in the water a while. This is soften the hairs. Use a moisturizing shaving gel. It depends on how sensitive you are. You can get a closer shave going “against the grain” but that leaves you more prone for irritation, bumps, cuts and niks. If you shave in the same direction that the hair grows, you are less likely to get irritated, but in my experience it doesn’t leave a close shave. Always use a new razor.
