Sexual immoralities from a christian point of view

There is no ‘christian point of view’. Christianity is a collection of loosely related religions, all teaching their own systems of beliefs. It is not a unified coherent system.

Liberal Christians view god as not caring at all about sexuality - do whatever you want as long as you aren’t hurting people. Fundamentalists would tell you god is obsessing and examining every thought you have and condemning you for simply having a sexual thought.

Here are some Bible verses that may answer your questions.

Proverbs 5:17-23 (New Living Translation) 17 You should reserve it for yourselves.

  Never share it with strangers.

18 Let your wife be a fountain of blessing for you.

  Rejoice in the wife of your youth.

19 She is a loving deer, a graceful doe.

  Let her breasts satisfy you always.
  May you always be captivated by her love.

20 Why be captivated, my son, by an immoral woman,

  or fondle the breasts of a promiscuous woman?

21 For the Lord sees clearly what a man does,

  examining every path he takes.

22 An evil man is held captive by his own sins;

  they are ropes that catch and hold him.

23 He will die for lack of self-control;

  he will be lost because of his great foolishness.

Ephesians 5:3-5 (New Living Translation) 3 Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God’s people. 4 Obscene stories, foolish talk, and coarse jokes—these are not for you. Instead, let there be thankfulness to God. 5 You can be sure that no immoral, impure, or greedy person will inherit the Kingdom of Christ and of God. For a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world.

Hebrews 13:4 (New Living Translation) 4 Give honor to marriage, and remain faithful to one another in marriage. God will surely judge people who are immoral and those who commit adultery.

Romans 1:26-27 (New Living Translation) 26 That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. 27 And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.

Of course there are so many more verses on it, I just wanted to highlight a few for you.

The bible says that the Holy Spirit will lead you into all truth, when you seek him.

It is one thing to say , “Don’t do this, or don’t do that, but, quiet another to walk it out. This is where the power of the Holy Spirit comes in, along with the teaching and training of Gods holy word.

It is our guide, and our defense, and our power, to overcoming the fleshly desires.

Sex.. is exploited all over the place.

It drives everything around us.

Our society is enthralled by it.

Captured by it.

Enslaved by it.

This was not Gods intention.

Sex… is the ultimate fulfillment between a man and woman.

In the Old Test. when a man had sex with a woman, he was to committ his life to her.

It did not change in the New Test.

This is still Gods way.

Without understanding the nature of God, one may think this to be something that is restrictive… of ones will.

However, once you come to actully know God, and his ways, you see it as a protective measure, to lead one into the richest possible life.

Ask any one who has been in a long time relationship… what that actually means to them. They will tell you that it is satisfying… to know your partner intimately, and to be able to trust them, explicitly.

Everyone craves this type of relationship.

Deep down inside, because God created us that way.

Multitudes indulge the fleshly appetites.

However, they will never satisfy.

They always leave one desiring more…

Sexual relationship in a committed union, satisfy, unless one is driven by a spirit of lust, and if this is present… it cannot be satisfied. It is always seeking greater and higher fulfillment, never satisfied…

It is up to each of us, to choose, which way we want to live.

Whether we desire to enter into a relationship with God, and be led by his spirit, or to be driven by all the other spirits that are out there, set on the destruction of man.

God be with you, in your decision.

OK sex between a man and his wife… True OK I hate people who go out and have sex like no manyana! they just use girls. God did make it for a good reason and he made it fun. We shouldn’t be like omg sex is bad! We should embrace it but not obsess in it…

If in doubt, consult Catholicism’s motto: If it feels good, stop.

More seriously, though, most conservative religious sects rule anything out except heterosexual sex between married partners. Without any form of contraception. In the missionary position. Preferably in the dark.
