yes you can still get pregnant. The pills are not strong enough to keep you from not getting pregnant. You have to take it at that same time. all time or however it was prescribe to you. Use a condom don’t be scared to wrap it up.

YES , CAUSE THE MEDICATION HAS GOT TO BE BUILD UP IN YOUR BLOOD STREAM .. YOU CAN NOT TAKE ONE ANTIBIOTIC AND SAY , HEY I AM BETTER FROM THE FLU OR STREP THROAT ..THE MEDICATION , HAS TO BE TAKEN FOR A WHILE ..

Yes, you certainly could be pregnant. For the birth control to be effective you actually have to take it, and you have to take it as intended.

When start birth control pills for the very first time, you need to take them for seven days before they even get into your system. That means you still have to use condoms for seven days after starting the pill. After those seven days, you can go without the condom if you take the pill every single day and at the same time every day.

If you’re even late or forget a day, that means you should use condoms for a while. Like jinx said, the pill doesn’t stay in your system. If it did, they wouldn’t make you take it every day. So forgetting even one pill means you increase you chances of pregnancy.

Answer #5

Birth control needs to be taken at the same time everyday to assure that it can work to it’s best potential. So yes you could get pregnant because the birth control was not in your system at the time of intercourse. Should you even miss a pill for a day you could get pregnant, the rumor isn’t true that birth control stays in your system for a long time. I would suggest using condoms along with the birth control if pregnancy is something you really don’t want.

Answer #6

birth control pills put your body through a false pregnancy, making your body think its pregnant wich closes off your tube for the sperm to enter. Birth control takes a couple weeks to kick in and if you miss a pill one day, that day your body say, hey im not prego! one day of a missed pill can increase you odds of getting prego by 65% dont miss you pill and take it at the exact time everyday or you throw the cycle out of wack!
