Serious pregnancy questions .. need answers. :(

I made the choice of being dumb and taking my b/c late a few times by sleeping in and even missing it once this month… im extremely worried.. my life depends on me NOT being pregnant. I’m not like those other chicks who wanna get preg early. or even any time soon.. my boyfriend.. came inside me like 4 times this month.. which isn’t the usual. also I’ve been eating sugar sugar sugar sugar. cereal and cookies, cereal and cookies… it could be just a normal crazy craving thing but im not sure.

When do food cravings usually start in a pregnancy?

what’s the likely hood of me being pregnant?

I havent gotten my period yet, but what is the likely hood of me getting my period during pregnancy?

please I need someone who knows about this stuff, not little kids cause ofcourse yall are gunna think I’m pregnant.

I won’t get into the shoulda woulda coulda crap because I’m sure you don’t want to hear it, and I don’t blame you…

The cravings may just be normal cravings. I crave sugar all the time and I;m not pregnant lol…came out of the blue one day too. I used to hate sweets and now I can’t get enough of them…

When you are pregnant though (as I was back in 2006), the cravings don’t start until later on…around the 4th or 5th month I believe. Well, that’s how it was for me and the few of my friends who were pregnant as well. Usually around this time you will be having “morning” sickness (or in my and my friend’s case…all day sickness), maybe sore breasts, fatigue.

If you want peace of mind, buy a pregnancy test that doesn’t cost much, and has 2 sticks in the box. You can get them for around $8 and they’re good ones that are 99% effective.

You also say you only missed one day of taking your pill. I highly doubt this is a big deal. The one from the day before and the day before that, etc…are still in your system at that point. Now missing 2 or 3 in a row, then you should start being concerned.

Also, sleeping in a few times and taking the pill a little late won’t make a difference either. As long as they are taken around the same time everyday…within a few hours of eachother…you should be fine. But just to be safe, ask this question on a doctor/health website, and get a test. Also make an appt with your doc.

Think about getting on the shot too. I was on it for 4 years until my health insurance ran out. You only go to get it once every 3 months and it’s over 99% effective. I even stopped having my period completly while on it (about 60% of women don’t have their periods while on it).

Also, for right now until you can get a test or get to the doc’s, have you heard of the rhythem method? Count from the first day of your last period (the first day being Day 1). Then figure out which days you had unprotected sex. Your cycle starts on Day 1, and ends on the first day of your next period. If you had sex between around the 14th to the 20th day of your cycle, chances are you may be pregnant. But if it was before or after that, the egg would have either been too hard or too soft to be fertilized. This doesn’t always work though!! People have different cycles sometimes and the length is not always consistent. My cycle for the past 3 monthswas 30 days, 32 days, 36 days…so yeah. This is supposedly an actual method of birth control, but as you can see it isn’t very reliable. I’m just saying you should maybe calculate this in your head just to see what the probability is…until you can get some real answers. Just for somewhat of peace of mind lol.

Anyway, I hope this helps a little.

well, try using condoms in the future, and since no one is psychic, take a pregnancy test…

as for the “symptoms”, the brain does funny things sometimes…

you could be pregnant even if you had protected sex and used birth control if your having sex theres ALWAYS a chance of pregnancy no matter what you use the only 100% guarentee your safe is if youve never had sex so yes, there is a chance and a bit oif a high chance because he came inside you and you havent been taking your birth control properly take a pregnancy test 3-4 weeks after you had sex or see the doctor for a blood test to get quicker and more accurate results and it might be a good idea to change the time you take your pill maybe later on in the day so you dont sleep in and you could set an ongoing alarm on your phone to remind you to take it as well

You need to be more careful. Take a pregnancy test right away - if you are pregnant and don’t know it taking birth control pills will not do you any good. If you are pregnant you have to deal with it. If your not - you need to be way more careful. Birth control pills don’t stop against HIV / AIDS / STDS. Maybe this scare will make you see some sense. Don’t be a fool - wrap up his tool!!!

If you only missed one by a few hours or minutes, you should be fine. Just continue to take your pills at the regular time. :]
