Should I wait a year, or work through the summer to attend college in September?

Many people choose to take a year off before heading to college, as it gives them more time to work and build up enough money to get them through … however, many people also fail to return to school after that year off, choosing instead to stay in the workforce. That decision is ultimately up to you. As for your boyfriend - I’ve not heard of any residence that will allow you to co-habitate with your boyfriend.

In any case, the choice is entirely up to you. Your boyfriend will more than likely NOT be allowed to live with you, as residence is reserved for students of the college only and all dorms are sectioned off gender wise otherwise (all of your roommates will be girls only). If you want to live with him, you’d probably have to live off of residence and rent an apartment together.
