sending pictures to my phone

I have tried to send pictures from my email to my phone and it says it sends on my email but not on my phone, I add it as an attachment am I doing something wrong?

umm I do that too sometimes, but theres a certain way to do it, if you send pics from your phone to your email, it gives you an email address, use that email address and send it to that. thats how it is with mine, I have verizon so I don’t know what you have.
