How did "Saint Valentine" show the golden rule?
so im doing this project for school and its to say how a certain saint shows the golden rule. (golden rule = do on to others as you would want done to you)But anyways I chose Saint Valemtine and wanted to know if its a good choice and if so any ideas how he showed the golden rule?! Thx. xoxo.

i don’t know about showing the golden rule, but i read somewhere that during his time the king made it illegal for people to get married. This was so that he could easily draft men for war seeing as it would have been harder if they were married. Saint Valentine stepped in by marrying couples secretly. Eventually he was sent to jail to be executed
