Running marathon

Hey I’m running often, usually 5 k’s a day in 20 minutes. I want to be able to run 32 kms , but don’t know how to do it - my energies were depleted when I got to 16 kms. Should I run slower/drink powerade ? Any strategy will be appriciated

Your problem is that you stay with a routine. If you JUST run the same thing everyday then that means you are just maintaining. You need LOTS of carbs if you run like that everyday and I run about 8 miles in 45min about every 3 days. My knees are busted so I barely make it anymore and have to go for the olyptical in my gym. Continue to slowly improve your distance in your run until you can get what you achieve. Set some realistic goals of increasing distance and then time…Even if you have to walk, it still is making your body getting use to the distance and time it will take.
