Who is Robinson Cano?

Exactly who is Robinson Cano and is he a good baseball player? What are his stats as a professional baseball player and how much money does he make?

Answer #1

Robinson Cano is a second baseman who made it into the Major Leagues in 2005 as he first signed on with the New York Yankees. As far as being a “good baseball player” goes, he would have to meet that criteria to ever even be considered as Major League material.

Some of his awards include:

  • American League Player of the Month (2 times)
  • Silver Slugger Award (5 times)
  • Gold Glove Award (2 times)
  • Home Run Derby (1 time) He also reaped in the rewards of being a member of the Yankees World Series Championships in 2009.

As stats are ever-changing, it’s difficult to state anything specific that will be relevant later on. The current 2013 stats are as follows, but you can keep updated on these at baseball-reference.com
