What is the most ridiculous assumption people make about you based on your race/ethnicity/culture?

I’m asian, chinese. So people think I do math for fun and excell at math and sciences. Also that I strive to be a doctor or an accountant. And basically that I am a total geek with no social life who loves going to classes and extremely innocent. And that I will date only Chinese guys. But in reality, I am no good at math, I almost failed my sciences, and I am going into the arts. And I have been yelled at by many teachers to stop sleeping in class. And I have dated a Comlumbian guy, and am now dating someone who is Portugese.

AWEEE YEA!! im asian too and i get all these comments that i should be super smart when im just an average person. My parents want me to become a pharmacist and go to university. My parents also say that i have to marry chinese or else hes not welcome into the family.. but of course thats not going to stop me from marrying any kind of race i want.

YES! :D Omg when I was choosing my course for University they kept suggesting accountant or, like you, pharmacist. Ew. My grandparents are like that too about the race, and I know my parents are as comfortable with it either, but TOO BAD :D.

Im white and i live in a trailor park - people always assume were white trash because of it. Apparently they havent seen trailors now a days seeing as new ones are better than some houses.

I’m Asian. So, I’m a kid genius who finished Calculus in elementary school, and I play the violin like a virtuoso, piano like a prodigy, and I have eyes the size of needles– width-wise. I’m super short, wear glasses, and never smile. I’m Chinese, and I think that Communism is amazing, yet I wanna be a lawyer. < < (that doesn’t even make sense. but, i’ve gotten a comment like that before. -.-) I smell like kimchi, love ramen, and i eat rice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I weigh a whopping 60 pounds, and am fluent in like, 3 languages. My eyes are black, my skin is yellow, and I talk with an accent.
