No.

Plenty of children are born in California, and they usually have nothing in their pockets that they can call their own.

In fact, they don’t even have any pockets worth talking about.

But they mostly seem to manage somehow or other.

Wages are higher in California than many other states but even accounting for the higher wages California is still an expensive place to live. Chances are you won’t be able to afford as large a house or as much land in California as you would elsewhere. On the other hand, California has amazing natural beauty and a progressive government. Every states has its advantages and disadvantages.
