How to restore a dark wood dining table that had nailpolish on it?

pleease someone help me pleeeeeease!!!! my mom is going to kill me. I was taken off my nieces nail polish off that is 100% acetone. is a big spot it feels rough and the color is faded. please tell me where and what do i need to get to make it look brand new!

you will need a carpenter. He will remove the nail polish and re-polish the table. will never be the same though…

you can attempt to wax it or polish it. Then look for a paint, primer, varnish of the same color and attempt to repaint it. But to be honest, everyone makes mistakes and you have to accept that. I hope I am right when I say this, but you have to tell your mom. I mean after all, it was an accident right? My brother was sitting at our dinning table (glass surface) and he was doing his homework there, he had sand paper underneath his book and accidentally moved the sand paper and the glass is all scratched. He told my mom and she was pissed for like 2 weeks. (Note the table was pretty much new) It has been over 2 years and that BIG scratch is still there. My point is, you have to admit you did something wrong and if you can’t fix it, then you go tell your mom and let her kill you (I mean that in a hypothetical way).
