How to make a wood card?

My boyfriends birthday is comming up and I was watching wizards of waverly place and the one kid dean made alex a card telling her how he cared made of wood. He is in construction so I thought that would be cute, but I cant find how to make one or find the episode. Help please!

You can use a local woodshop to get a piece of wood carved down most also have laser or similar equipment for ingraving the piece of wood when you’re done. Some can even trace what you wrote…which would be a cute thing to do, I think, if he’s into wood carvings.
