Red mark on my neck!!

You know sometimes how you go to sleep and wake up and see marks on your skin that you just can’t explain? Well this is what has happened to me. I woke up with a red mark on my neck closer to my collar bone but I didn’t notice it until my boyfriend pointed it out to me later that day. He accused me of having a hickey but I kept telling its not and how I don’t know what caused it. Now he has stopped talking to me and has refused to answer my calls. What do I do because I swear it not a hickey?

Has anyone ever had this happen to them?

(He has always had trust issues with me and I guess it would have stemmed from from past relationships as he was cheated on before but I have never cheated on him he would always feel or assume that I did)

In my experience, it is best to blame embarrassing neck hickeys on mosquito bites.

Those appearing overnight may be similarly attributed to rampant bed-bugs, or alternatively (especially so close to a full moon) nocturnal visits by uninvited lecherous vampires.

Maybe you scratched your neck in the middle of the night. It’s pretty obvious to tell a hickey from a simple red mark or a scratch. Don’t let your boyfriend justify his actions towards you on his past relationships. You aren’t those girls he dates. All you can do is reassure him that you’re faithful. If he’s gonna be an a** then that’s his problem, not yours.
