Brown bruise like mark on my neck

So I have a brown bruise like mark on my neck; it like covers the whole bottom of it. And the skin is thinner there. I’m going to the doctors in about a week or two but I was reading how it could be cancer and I got a bit concerned; I don’t think it is. But still; help?

I think that you have a build up of melaninin. This is the chemical that gives our skin its color and sometimes it is very uneveven. Stop worrying and get the doctor to see it.
