red bumps "down there"?

I shave like once or twice a week “down there” and I get red bumps.

How the hell do I get rid of them?

“shave with the grain and then shave against it” … hmm.. when I do that I gut myself. lol She does not have herpes!! This happens to a lot of girls. It happens to me too. The best thing I found to do is run really hot water on it for a few minutes. (not so hot that it burns you) This way the pores will open up and the hair will be softer. I always use a fresh, clean vazor. I use shaving cram for sensitive skin and always shave against the grain, for a closer shave. Then once I’ve finished I wash with warm water.. then cold.. lol to close the pores. When I get out of the shower I rub lotion on.. but nothing with vitamin e because that forms a thin layer of skin over and causes ingrown hairs. Sometimes I like to use baby powder. I don’t know if that does anything, I just like the smell lol. NEVER put after shave on!!! I don’t know if anyone is as dumb as me but I tried it and it kills!!! It hurt so bad I started crying, lol … so yea hope this helps Xx-Paige

Ok well first of all when you shave … shave with the grain and then shave against it, it makes a closer shave. Then what you can do is buy Bikini Zone. It burns when you first put it on, but it is made for bikini areas, but it works all over. It will decrease the bumps. -oh and don’t itch, it makes it worse

Answer #3

Dont shave up shave down, and dont go right to the skin..leave a lil hair, they are in growns, they could make nasty pimples, and get infected… itchy and what not, just dont go to close to the skin , and wash yourself very good lol

Answer #4

It’s razor burn, once they’re there you can really do much. To prevent:

  1. Make sure you’re shaving against the hair as much as possible
  2. Once you’re done shaving, hold a hot cloth on the shaved area, it really helps and prevents the bumps.

Answer #6

I have the same problem but I found out a way to help…before shaving you should take a warm bath so the hair down there can get soft. then use a new razor and shaving cream and shave the way the hair grows, not against it. dont go over an area more than 3 times. then once your done moisturize with baby oil or something. hope I helped :)
