Would my rats get too stressed by my cat?

I have two cats, one NEVER comes upstairs (super skiddish) and the other is like my baby; always in my room. We had two cats at my old house when we had a bird; and the bird was fine. The cats could never get it..I won’t be letting my rats out in my room, either. I have a room purely for my rats, so the cat(s) wouldn’t be in there. But, while I’m gone during the day at school, my cat will be able to get in my room, and I’m sure she’ll be checking them out..the cage bars aren’t big enough for her to fit her paw and arm through, but would she stress out the rats too much by even just being there?

Rats are pretty resourceful characters, brave, and as far as I am aware, daring. You will find rats surviving under all types of circumstances. I do not and cannot believe that your rats will get stressed over one cat.

In fact, I believe the stressing is more likely to come from your cat, than your rat.

haha that’ll be kind of funny, actually, to see my big “tough” cat (she beats up the other cats, and dogs, and us lol) scared of two rats (:
